Why Smoke Weed, they ask

 Why smoke weed?

For a lot of reasons I guess, but the main one

being that this morning I was having to wage 

wars on all the doors my husband built

because they fit too tight

and I found myself swinging this hammer

thinking about how I was going to tell him

that I'm going to run off and join the circus

if he doesn't stop doing that to all the doors

and gates,

but weed let me see that he's just expressing

his OCD, and to let it be, because he lets me be,

that actually it's a beautiful metaphor for his soul

and on that I must not wage war.

And then annoying became beautiful.
